So, the author won a design contest for yarn shades, and as her reward to name it. Indeed, this is probably one of the best things that can happen to a crocheter, second only to designing a brand new, fantabulous pattern that takes the world by storm. However, a great yarn needs to be celebrated through great projects. Thus, here are shawls inspired by the design of this special shaded skein of yarn. Overall, these are  beautiful, gradient-colored shawls with a delicate and lacy texture. An ideal garment for a summer’s evening, they will function equally well in other seasons as well. Moreover, you can make one in colors more appropriate to other seasons. Of course, fall leaves come to mind 😉 Make a great garment with this neat story behind it. Enjoy!

Here is a shawl created by the author of the pattern – SisHomemade. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and of course accessorizes with anything, but it really shines in the winter queen chic.

Conversely, just to show the true versatility of this pattern, here is a more subdued though no less beautiful shawl. In particular, I find the transitions between the greens and purple to be especially ISlove shawl.
