Crochet Teddy Bear In Pajamas
A plush crochet teddy bear in pajamas and a yellow nightcap lies on its side, cuddling a yellow star pillow and wearing white mouse-shaped slippers.

This huggable crochet teddy bear in pajamas will make the sweetest toy for your kid! Made with chenille yarn, it’s heavenly soft and delightfully squishy. The bear is dressed in cute pajamas, including a dangling hat and bunny slippers, making it the perfect bedtime companion for little ones.

Yarn and Hook Suggestions for Teddy Bear Amigurumi

If you want your crocheted teddy bear to be as cuddly as the one designed by Tatiana Medintseva, use ultra-soft chenille yarn. A fantastic choice is Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce, giving your toy that super bulky look and fluffy feel. For embroidering teddy bear’s brows, the designer used YarnArt Jeans, but any lightweight yarn in black color would work great too.

You will also need a 4 mm crochet hook and some polyester fiberfill to stuff the toy.

Crochet Teddy Bear In Pajamas Final Size

The finished teddy bear amigurumi measures 9.8″ (25 cm) in height. It’s small enough for kids’ little hands while still being plump and perfectly sized for receiving a lot of cuddles. However, if you want, you can make the toy bigger by sizing up your hook.

Skill Level Required for the Crochet Teddy Bear Pattern

Tatiana’s teddy bear crochet pattern is a great project for those familiar with making amigurumi toys. Since the fluffy chenille yarn is quite tricky to work with, it’s not recommended for absolute beginners who may find it difficult to see the stitches.

The bear is done in separate pieces using single crochets and requires assembly. The pattern also includes a step-by-step video tutorial created by the designer for additional help.
