Residing in Kansas, Tonya’s life is a colorful tapestry filled with family, fun, and an abundance of creativity. She wears the hats of a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. Tonya’s crochet journey started at the tender age of 8, under the guidance of “Aunt” Dorothy, a master crocheter and knitter.
Today, Tonya is passing on the craft she adores to her oldest granddaughters, creating a beautiful thread that connects generations. With the inception of Nana’s Crafty Home in the spring of 2017, Tonya embarked on a new chapter. Her love for crochet and designing has flourished over the years resulting in over 120 projects, ranging from wearables and accessories to home decor and blankets.
Tonya’s passion for sharing and teaching extends beyond her blog. She has been a featured designer for Happily Hooked Magazine, offering a comprehensive corner-to-corner crochet video course. She also creates step-by-step tutorials on her YouTube channel gathering over 48k subscribers.
