Warm weather is finally here, and it’s a great time to make light and airy crochet projects just right for the summer. The Jeanette square is a perfect example of such a project usable in a light summer throw or afghan. It’s intricate central motif is bordered by layers of edging. Because of the latter, it will work very well in a project like a blanket, despite the lacy interior. This is a lovely design that will be very rewarding to crocheters of all abilities, and a useful addition to your square quiver. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
