Although square-based blankets are great, you can have enough. For those instances, here is a beautiful pattern made of interlocking circles, almost like chain mail, where the portion between the rings is filled with an attractive lacy hexagon. Coupled with the correct choice of a color gradient this is a beautiful project that will be fun to make, and provide a great distraction from granny squares. The finished blanket is approximately 38″ by 44″.
