I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

Your guests also deserve something nice.

Whether at home or the cottage, accessories for your guest room are often a problem. Thus, it’s a good idea to have an additional guest throw meant for your special guest. As such, these simple projects will be a great way to work up a quick throw or blanket project. Therefore, you will enable them to cover up at night or hang out at the backyard in style and in comfort. Because the  use will be necessarily sporadic, it’s also good to keep your handmade blanket looking neat and elegant, with a decorative function while not needed.

Corner-to-Corner Guest Throw

With this pattern you will make a simple but eye-catching throw or blanket for your guest room or for yourself. It also a good project to practice the corner-to-corner technique which always gives an amazing texture and an outstanding look. The C2C Guest Throw is finished with an elegant border worked in joined rounds. A border is also included as a part of this pattern.

However, this guest throw is a slightly different take on this theme. To wit, it’s thicker and bulkier, giving it a lovely drape and amazing warmth. Thus, it’s perfect for the cottage.
