C2C Moss Stitch Blanket Free Crochet Patterns

C2C moss stitching is a great way to make gently textured blankets quite easily.

The moss crochet stitch (also referred to as the granite or linen stitch) is a superbly easy and attractive stitch. Moreover, it combines readily with the corner (C2C) stitch to be worked on the bias. Significantly, the created items ave a lot of stretch and springiness, as well as draping really well, like over furniture. This stitch is great for use with ombre and multicolored yarns, provided your intent is to disperse the colors, rather than building a gradient. In summary, please have a look at these example C2C moss stitch blanket free crochet patterns and see the great utility of this technique.

This C2C blanket uses the moss stitch in combination with a broad border stripe. While the designed size is 27 by 37 inches, it can really be adapted for any size, simply by selecting what the halfway point is going to be as you’re making it. The yarn is also customizable, although the author worked it up using  Loops & Threads Impeccable.
