This shrug is designed to complement a junior ballerina outfit, keeping the chill off the shoulders, but not impeding the nascent prima ballerina’s movements in any way. The pattern is designed for girls 4 to 10 years old, and is easy to crochet. Due to its loose stitch, it also works up quickly, so there is just no excuse for your little artist not to have one of their own. Also, you can make a number of these quickly enough, so perhaps make them in team colors, when your daughter’s troupe goes on the road? The possibilities are many. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
