The Amita Shawl is a lovely airy and light shoulder throw for a cool spring or summer evening. It’s a quick way to make a beautiful and functional accessory. The alternating bands of denser and looser stitching give it an interesting texture, that will function very well with a beige or off-white yarn (as below), but will; also complement a more saturated color to produce a more vibrant and risque garment. It’s a fun project, and an easy way to get brownie points with those that appreciate such accessories. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
