The Magpie CAL is a wonderful project starting Wednesday, Aug. 21. Magpie rhymes aside, make two of these for joy, and you’ll have your own Heckle and Jeckle to give a child to play with. While the pattern is a tad ambitious, the CAL paradigm enables you to work on it in concert with other crocheters who can then provide you with help, if you get stuck. Of course, you can also contribute and help others. If you like amigurumi, and you like CALs, or would like to try a CAL this is a great project to take on. A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.
