Just love how the afghan center square is shown at twice the size of the other squares yet the pattern is just for a square the same size so I guess we need to make things up as we go along. Oh, but wait—-can’t make a lot of the squares because I can not afford to PAY for the pattern. Please excuse my ignorance–I thought when something was listed as a free afghan pattern, you got all the pieces of it free.

I love the vintage look of your afghan. Would you please tell me what colors you used? Thank you@

I love it. Just beautiful. If I didn’t have so many projects going on I would love to get my hook into it!

I can’t say this was easy to find which colour goes where and which row. Took a lot of time reading, viewing and understanding each square of each of the pattern. I did not pay for all of the patters, just purchased the centre piece and 4 others – https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Mazalie/block-a-week-cal—covid-20-21 – It is your choice what squares to use. I used A Block a week mostly. lookatwhatimade.net – I was inspired by Sharon Blignaut, who created this colour scheme – https://www.ravelry.com/projects/SharonBlignaut/block-a-week-cal-2014 -Thank you Sharon for the inspiration.

To everyone looking for all the squares in this beautiful pattern, I believe most of these squares are in Hooked on Grannies at https://www.ravelry.com/. It is $6 for 36 patterns; a couple are not in the PDF files, but all the patterns are on Ravelry.
