How to make a Single Crochet Face Scrubbie Cotton Pad Step by Step:
Foundation:
- Start with a slip knot on your crochet hook. If you don’t know how to make one, you can find a tutorial on our YouTube channel.
- Make ch 11.
Row 1:
Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook (it will be the 10th chain you make). Sc in each chain. (You will get 10 sc in a row, as we needed 1 additional chain to make a sts).
Row 2 – 10:
ch 1 and turn. Make sc in each chain (10 sc in a row). Repeat 8 times, to get 10 rows in total.
Border (Edge):
To give your pad a pro look, I recommend you to finish your project with the simple edging. To do that, simply continue with single crochet stitches on each side of the pad. In each corner, make two sc stitches.
Finish off:
Leave 3″ of the yarn end and cut off the rest. Yarn over and pull through. Pull the hook out.
Pull the yarn to tighten the knot. Weave in the ends.
