The regular squares that make up this beautiful blanket give this wonderful piece an almost digital appearance, with a pleasant regularity and predictability. Of course, the possibilities for variation are endless, but the individual squares make it easy to put together any design you like.

Bauhaus Block Blanket Free Crochet Pattern
The Bauhaus Block is an intriguing blanket made from 1.75” x 1.75” squares. It makes a nice bedspread, but it also is a good pattern for a rug, wall hanger or tapestry. According to the the pattern, you will make the eight stitch by eight-row square, but you can adjust it to your project, such as a six stitch by six-row square like in the blanket in the photo.
