Prince Protea Square Free Crochet Pattern
A collection of colorful crocheted squares and floral patterns arranged side by side, showcasing intricate designs and vibrant hues, reminiscent of a ribbed potholder from a free crochet pattern.

The Prince Protea square is another amazing mandala-inspired project. It’s a little staburst of colr on an ornate, multi-layered background. While you can make these squares subdued, the vibrant color contrasts in the photos below are really the forte of this pattern. Prince Potea squares are a great addition to your square quiver and can be used for blankets, afghans, throws and other wide, flat surfaces. Additionally, they can certainly be added as a decorative motif to something like a tote bag. Enjoy! A link to the free pattern is at the end of the post.

This is the very first time I have seen such beautiful designs. I am in a craft club and I hope they will teach me to crochet and to be able to follow your patterns. I craft with fabric and paper and oh my! If I could learn to create with vibrant colours and delicate designs I would be one very happy bunny. I am so looking forward to following this site and learning. Thank you.
