The puff stitch is a definite must-have in your quiver of crocheting techniques. It’s great for adding a thick, fluffy texture to a piece, whether as a whole or to certain parts, such as in the Rainbow Puff Hexagon Blanket. This particular pattern is great, because not only do you get to practice combining puff stitches with single and double crochets, but you also use it to make a hexagonal panel blanket, which will be a niche change from the more usual square-based projects.
