OK, the time for Christmas crochet is over, and the time for Valentine’s things isn’t with us yet. It’s time once again to crochet practical clothing projects. The Dragon Belly shawl is a wonderful project for a piece of everyday apparel that will go well with both a formal and a casual outfit. The texture and colors are inspired by a mythical creature and wok really well together, especially in terms of the gradient of greens from the top to the bottom. Lizard Shawl Free Crochet Pattern
Yet another shawl that is inspired by a living creature; this is a very fancy piece that will go really well with an evening gown. New Year’s Eve, perhaps?
