Floral Square motifs are a great way to crochet building blocks for larger projects. They work equally well as blankets, afghans, or even as part of smaller projects like cushions or clothing.
Weekend in Stockholm Throw Free Crochet Pattern
Classic Scandinavian-inspired crochet is a great way to add a rustic accent to a modern decor, or to really polish up the old timey appearance of a vintage interior.
The Weekend in Stockholm throw is a traditional square-based blanket with flower centers. The background is densely stitched, giving the blanket a heavy drape, but the flowers themselves use voids to outline and highlight the petals. This is a beautiful project whose appearance belies the fact that it is relatively easy to make. This is a beautiful pattern that you will turn into an accessory to be cherished forever. Flower Garden Granny Square Free Crochet Pattern
If flower-based squares are your thing, you can also have a look at the flower garden granny square pattern. These are lovely, three-dimensional squares with a highly textured center. Unlike the squares of the other blanket, they make greater use of voice to define the flowers, and therefore airier and lace-like. It may be quite the thing to combine the two into one project.
