Let’s get back to the basics
While we all like to expriment with fancy things and peruse even fancier patterns, it’s good to take a step back and run with the classics. Therefore, here are some flower block afghan ideas. After all, short of granny crochet, there are few projects as classic and timeless as these. However, this does not at all mean that they are boring and passe. In fact, these projects all have a modern flair to them giving them a bright, cheery outlook that works well with modern interiors. Overall, one could almost say that these are the modern reincarnations of a classic theme.
Hexagon with 3D Flower
Although one may think that non-square motifs aren’t great flower afghan block ideas, that’s certainly not true. To this point, here is a flower-themed hexagon that can make an afghan in a honeycomb fashion. Moreover, it gives any blanket a lovely, 3D texture that will be a hit.
