The Unicorn Owl is a funny combination of the unicorn, a mythical horned horse much beloved by little girls between the ages of 3 and 87, as well as an owl, the symbol of wisdom. This is one very smart unicorn 😉 The pattern is easy to make (two crocheted halves stitched together), it’s lots of fun to decorate (here’s an idea for non-battery-powered relaxation with the kids) and is a fun amigurumi animal to customize and match to your kids’ tastes. Make a whole flight (herd??) of these in different colors and styles. A link to the free pattern is below photos.

Due to their shape, owls are great for making out of two halves. For a less psychedelic project, check out the heart belly owl, also a great and enjoyable project.
