Afghan squares are a great way to show off your mad crochet skills. Whether you are a beginner or a black belt, the base pattern is simple, but it allows you to modify and play with the placement stitches to achieve countless variations and looks based on this seemingly simple theme. Make it as complex, or as simple as you need, vary the colors, the yarn weights and hook sizes to produce many unique Afghan squares.
