Times have changed.

In fact, the times have changed literally since we set our clocks back on Sunday. While this means that there is more light in the morning, the evening daylight is also shorter. So, it will be good to bring a touch of spring into our crocheting, to help dispel the fall blahs. Therefore, here are some primavera flower patterns (Primavera = Latin for Spring) to help you anticipate and draw forth the rebirth of the season in a few short months. Overall, this pattern is a wonderful, textured little gem that helps offset a denser surface – much like spring flowers on a bed of melting snow.

To begin with, our primavera flower journey starts with this wonderful stroller blanket comprising these wonderful blossoms in color and in monochrome. Overall, this is such a great visual contrast, and has a  sheer, tactile joy that’s perfect for small kids.

Next, we have this wonderful piece with larger flowers that have a gentler texture. In particular, I love the bare hint of a white border, coupled with a large blossom.
