The Irish Weave is an interesting stitch idea for a highly textured, thick and pliant crocheted fabric, that nevertheless has an airy appearance. It’s quite the combo! The weave works very well with alternating bands of colors, but would equally well complement a monochrome project. It’s a great idea and something quite different from run-of-the-mill blanket designs.
