Tiles are crocheted squares that are meant for standalone use or a building block for larger projects, although they can also be used as such.
2020 Temperature Tile Blanket Free Crochet Pattern
The temperature tile is a beautiful square with geometric designs. The project is a lovely accent piece for a room, particularly one in natural colors and earth tones. The inspiration is that of the current weekly temperatures, with the inner and outer sections representing the week’s highs and lows respectively. This is a great idea for connecting your crocheting to your natural environment. A link to free patterns is included under the photos.

Wrapped in Jamie CAL Blanket Free Crochet Pattern
The wrapped in Jamie CAL is another square blanket project that doesn’t make use of individual square building blocks, but is made of a single, contiguous square. Like the previous piece, it also has a center section surrounded by a border, but instead of purely visual geometric patterns, it also has a developed texture. Why not make one of each, one for the bedroom, one for the sitting room?
