I’m a craft designer and author of hundreds of articles and reviews about crocheting and other crafts. I search out and present novel approaches to classic patterns and techniques to encourage you to try something new. I’m delighted that so many of you read my posts and that I can contribute to promoting our crochet community. I’m interested in crafts, interior design and love traveling and sitting next to a campfire. I live with my husband and three kids in the Rockies.

Cancer ribbons are a great way to raise awareness and remind people of an important and worthy cause. The awareness ribbon beanie is a beautiful project in its own right, and will be wearable on any cooler occasion (and we have a few months of those coming up ;D). At the same time, you will support those who suffering. If you make a bunch of these, you can donate them to a local raffle or auction for supporting a local cancer charity or hospice. Have fun, be fashionable and help out those in need. Be quick – this pattern is free limited time only. A link to free pattern is under the photos.
